Description:
The Buschur Racing Air Filter Shield is NEEDED when running an open element air filter on the Evo X.

When an open element filter is installed on the X there is a 'stumble' issue when using the A/C. Once the engine temperature goes up the A/C fan will kick on. When this happens the hot air is forced into the air filter. When that occurs the mass air flow sensor tries to correct itself for the extra/hot air being forced in and it can not as the air temperature changes too quickly and there is to much air being taken in.

This shield prevents that from occurring as it blocks the extra hot air from entering the system.

The shield is built from aluminum and comes to you powder coated with a wrinkle black finish.
