The ARP2000 Pro Series Wave-Loc ultra heavy-duty rod bolts are made from 8740 chrome moly steel. ARP's patented Wave-Loc shank design features symmetrical waves to provide the proper interference fit in the rod and the cap which reduces stress risers in the rod bolt and the connecting rod as compared to OEM style knurled bolts.
